K.Y. Fine Art was established in February 2001 by Mr Kai-yuen Ng (K.Y. Ng).

Formerly known as Luen Chai, it deals in a wide range of Chinese art antiques including fine ceramics and paintings.

Under the directorship of Mr. K. Y. Ng, Luen Chai had been featured in numerous shopping guide books including Travel and Leisure; Fiona Campbell, The Guide to Shopping in Hong Kong (FDC Services Ltd Publication, 1996); Valery M. Garrett, Antiques, Art & Crafts in Hong Kong (Times Editions Pte Ltd., Singapore 1996); Living in Hong Kong (American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, 1998).

June Host “Through the Gates of Wonder” – Exhibition of Paintings by The Master of the Water, Pine and Stone Retreat from the K. Y. Ng Collection from June 2 – June 6, 2022 at Hong Kong Arts Centre, showcasing paintings by Mr Hugh Moss, a celebrated collector of Chinese works of art and an accomplished artist
2021  
July Mr. K. Y. Ng was invited by Chinese Arts & Crafts to give a lecture on “Tang and Song Ceramics”


2019  
Oct In an interview by online reading platform “Zhi Shu” under Sino United Publishing Group, Mr K. Y. Ng talked about appreciation of art pieces and the history Hollywood Road, the renowned antique street in Hong Kong (please download the app to view the interview video)

Nov Host an introduction session for students of the "Chinese Art in Hong Kong: A Brief History of Collecting and the Art Market" programme organised by Christie's Education in Hong Kong. K. Y. Fine Art is the only gallery included in the programme itinerary.
