Biographical Notes:

born 1959 in Nanjing, family originally from Tongzhou, Jiangsu province; graduated from the Nanjing Art Institute in 1984 and received a Master's degree from the Institute in 1989;

currently a Professor in the Nanjing Art Institute, Vice-director of the Jiangsu Art Institute, and a member of the Chinese Artists' Association.
