Biographical Notes:

born 1949

A native of Dongyang In Zhejiang and a graduate of the Chinese Painting Department of the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, Lu excels in Chinese painting, oil painting and the production of picture -stories. Over twenty picture story books, painting albums and monographs have been published since 1972. His works have been shown in many solo and joint exhibitions in Zhejiang , Shanghai , Beijing , Japan and France . He was the winner of the silver medal in the 6th National Art Exhibition. At present he is the editor-in- chief of the Shanghai Painting and Calligraphy Publishing House, Art Cloud Magazine and Research in Calligraphy and Pointing . He is also a member of the Chinese Artists' Association, council member of its Shanghai Branch and its Aesthetic Theory Committee.
